The Bird 25 Year Club was established in 1956 by H. J. Bird to recognize 16 salaried staff members that had achieved the milestone of 25 years of uninterrupted service with Bird Construction. The employees of the Company have an impressive record of service in an industry known for its transient work force. The current membership of the 25 Year Club tops 165 with many of these members reaching the milestone of 40 years of service. This group takes pride in the contribution they have made to improve the infrastructure and quality of life in their communities.
Each inductee to the 25 Year Club is recognized at a banquet in their honor attended by family, colleagues and current members of the 25 Year Club. As part of the celebration, each inductee is presented with an engraved watch to mark the achievement of this milestone.
