Business Development Administrator

Supporting Bird’s industrial business from our Edmonton office, the successful candidate will apply exceptional organizational and administrative skills to help the Business Development team operate efficiently and productively in support of the industrial business plan. 

 Job Duties:
  • Support business development team in day-to-day administration of interactions with clients, including tracking activities and clients in Client Relationship Management (CRM) software 
  • Act as gatekeeper of information compiled in CRM program, checking and updating contact details and managing opportunities within the system and making revisions when requested by senior leadership and Business Development team
  • Conduct analysis of opportunities and generate reports using CRM for leadership team
  • Produce and compile a variety of print materials, including proposals, marketing materials and presentations 
  • Organize and maintain network files including photos library and marketing content
  • Support the completion of prequalification questionnaires and coordinate reviews and approvals as needed
  • Coordinate marketing and communication activities, including ordering promotional products, tracking donations/sponsorships, and organizing events
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in an office environment considered an asset
  • Post secondary degree in a relevant program required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate team members
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with proven ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management software considered an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal relations, with ability to gain trust and respect of others and build relationships
  • Keen attention to detail and high standards for work produced
  • Willingness and flexibility to take on a wide variety of tasks
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Print design experience using Adobe InDesign, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop, considered an asset
