Project HSE Manager

This opportunity, reporting to the HSE Director in Edmonton, is well suited for team-oriented individuals who are looking to advance and grow as a HSE professional. Primary responsibilities for this role include:

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a visible and professional HS&E leadership role at all times
  • Oversee and administer the company’s HS&E Program
  • Supervise, direct, and coach HS&E Coordinators
  • Maintain project statistics and records and monitor incident frequencies and safety violations
  • Liaise with clients
  • Prepare and/or review all reports required by the HS&E Program
Qualifications:
  • A certificate or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Minimum of 7 years of safety experience in a construction environment
  • A CRSP or similar designation would be considered an asset
  • Self motivated team player, who is passionate about safety
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subs, trades, and co-workers
  • This position is office based. Site visits will be necessary.
