Tim Talbott, P.Eng.

In 2001, Tim was promoted to vice president operations and relocated to the corporate office in Toronto. In September 2008, he became senior vice president operations. In April 2009, he was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer and in February 2010, his role expanded to president and chief operating officer. In July 2010, Tim was appointed to his current position as president and chief executive officer of Bird where he holds responsibility for all strategic and operational facets of the organization. At the same time, Tim was appointed a member of the board of trustees of Bird Construction Income Fund and board of directors of Bird Construction — the predecessor companies to Bird Construction Inc. 

He is a registered professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Manitoba and a member of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers. In addition, Tim has served as vice chair of the Construction Labour Relations Association of Manitoba and as a director of the Winnipeg Construction Association.
