The renovations to the ferry terminal included a new floor, wall and ceiling treatments, ticket booths and the replacement of a covered pedestrian access bridge. Pre-construction work lasted approximately three months and resulted in a cost savings of $1.8 million for the client.
The budget reduction allowed the project to proceed to construction. The aggressive schedule was developed out of early partnering with the owner, user groups and prime consultant.
