The building houses the 911 urban Call Centre and the City of Brandon Fire Fighters Museum. Building features include wood faced ceiling panels, a glulam wood bridge and balcony, cement board exterior wall panels and an energy efficient, white thermoplastic-polyolefin roof system.
A 22-week delivery time of the pre-cut exterior wall panels required particular attention to the shop drawings. As such, Bird organized a collective review process with trades and consultants to ensure accuracy of the fabrication.
