Construction work began late in the summer with the site requiring a large amount of fill for the parking lot and a 25-foot-high retaining wall. Bird imported and placed over 13,000 cubic yards of fill. Subsequently, the team was required to finish the asphalt parking lot prior to the asphalt plant’s seasonal closure in December.
