Metropolitan Theatre

The Metropolitan Theatre has been transformed into a banquet emporium that will contribute to the revitalization of Winnipeg’s downtown core. The renovations included extensive plasterwork repair and historically accurate restoration including the signature dome ceiling and decorative mouldings. The project also included the demolition of an adjacent building, to facilitate a new three-storey building to house the kitchen and rooftop patio for the restaurant. The team also converted the multi-level flat seating in the existing theatre into tiered seating, allowing each level will have an unobstructed view of the stage.
