Housed within both buildings are classrooms, collaborative space, and research and teaching labs. Together, the two buildings form a large landscaped courtyard with a reflecting pool - a central focus for the complex. Lighting controls and mechanical systems create a 30% reduction in energy consumption. There is an extensive waste management system, green roof technology, and underground cisterns that store water for irrigation.
