Voisey's Bay Site Wide Concrete
The Voisey's Bay Nickel Project boasts one of the world's richest accessible nickel discoveries. Located on the coast of Labrador in North-eastern Canada, it is owned by Vale Inco, the western world's largest nickel company. As is the case with many Canadian Mining Projects, H.J. O'Connell, a division of Bird, was a major player in the development.
All construction equipment was mobilized to complete the scope of work that included the mill site building, coarse ore storage building, crusher, powerhouse, accommodation complex, site wide storage facility, and port site works.
