Achieving "Zero Harm" is no small undertaking. In an industry that is often driven by deadlines, maintaining the discipline to pre-plan and integrate safety into all activities requires diligence. Our policies and procedures mandate the planning of tasks so that they become ingrained as habits. Safety is always the first thought and a habit we stress before executing any activity. We continuously monitor and improve our policies, procedures and behaviors using inspections, self-audits and the implementation of industry best practices. Bird employees from every branch participate in industry organizations with the goal of assisting in the development of new best practices for integration into our operations. Safety training is provided at all levels of the Company.
