La mission de Bird comprenait la pr\u00e9paration compl\u00e8te du site, les travaux de g\u00e9nie civil, la tuyauterie souterraine, la construction structurelle et l'installation des syst\u00e8mes de traitement, ainsi que l'instrumentation m\u00e9canique, \u00e9lectrique et SCADA pour assurer la redondance, la capacit\u00e9 et la fiabilit\u00e9 de l'installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La nouvelle installation \u00e9tait indispensable car la station d'\u00e9puration d'origine d'OPG approchait de la fin de sa dur\u00e9e de vie.
