This 3,200 m2 addition makes our client one of the largest food processing facilities in the province. The addition expanded the poultry processing plant to include the addition of a drag chiller room, turkey cut and pack area, dry storage/box making rooms, variable retention time (VRT) freezer and related utility rooms.
The Synchronous Condensers are required to provide grid stability. Similar in comparison to horizontal generators, the Bipole III Riel Station Project synchronous condenser assemblies support the Manitoba Hydro grid with reactive power.

This processing facility is the first facility of its scope, size and complexity. It includes a processing plant, warehouse, office space, and its own electrical substation. The processing facility will derive protein from both canola and peas.
