The project is a new single-storey/partial crawl space energy-efficient structure of approximately 5,800 m2 with 5 and 8-metre clear interior heights on a greenfield site. The building’s simplified form, limited glazing and high-performance building envelope are a response to the stringent operational and environmental requirements, dictated in large part by the processes, technology, and equipment specific to the demands of Sterile IV Production, Non-Sterile Compounding, Replenishing, and Dispensing of medication that is received, processed and shipped across central and northern Alberta.
