LCol George Taylor Denison III Armoury

Project Overview

The LCol George Taylor Denison III Armoury was delivered as a major design‑build project for the Department of National Defence, supporting the consolidation of Army command, training, and support functions for the Central Region. At the time of completion, the facility represented one of DND’s most significant large‑scale design‑build developments.

The approximately 33,000 m² (325,000+ sq ft) multi‑user facility was designed to accommodate a broad range of military functions, including a full‑scale drill hall, training and classroom spaces, administrative offices, mess facilities, and extensive vehicle maintenance and warehousing areas. The building was constructed with a durable structural system and secure envelope appropriate for intensive military use and long‑term operational demands.
