Misericordia Health Centre

While Misericordia remains a historically significant feature of the community, the aging hospital was in need of redevelopment. Bird was awarded the contract to complete the first of four phases for the project. The scope of work included replacing the existing 1900-era wood-frame buildings (Sherbrook and Maryland wings) and consolidating departments, such as diagnostic imaging, medical lab, and ophthalmology into a new, modern, sustainably-designed two-storey building that achieves three Globes under Green Globes Certification.
