Northern Water Treatment Plant

The new water treatment plant, which replaces two outdated facilities, employs clarification and reverse osmosis membrane filtration with chlorination for disinfection. Prior to construction, Bird re-graded the site improving the stability of the terrain for the new water treatment plant and allowing for proper drainage patterns.

The site includes storm water management to reduce runoff, drought-tolerant landscaping, water efficient plumbing fixtures, solar wall pre-heat air ventilation system, and energy efficient lighting.
