Buffalo Atlee Wind

The Buffalo Atlee Wind Farm is located in Southern Alberta, approximately 100 km northwest of Medicine Hat. The project is developed, owned and to be operated by Capstone Infrastructure. Bird was the prime EPC contractor and self-performed majority of the work. The project is rated for 67 MW and includes installing 13 SG145 5.2MW wind turbine generators (WTGs), 12 km of collector cables (3ph), 4 switching stations, meteorological tower, gravity foundations, and access roads. Bird’s scope of work also included engineering, testing, commissioning and energization.
