Imperial Oil Multi-Discipline Maintenance and Turnarounds
Our team has a long standing MSA contract to provide multi-discipline maintenance, Major Turnarounds & Planning, and sustaining capital services to Imperial Oil Cold Lake facility which spans multiple sites within its district.
The site-based team delivers day-to-day maintenance with a steady crew of over 180 highly skilled craftspeople. In addition, the team ramps up for major turnarounds every year with an additional 200-300 people. Indigenous workers comprise an average of 16% of the crew at Cold Lake and has peaked at 28% during turnarounds.
At Imperial Cold Lake, our team executes over 325,000 person-hours annually while delivering exceptional safety performance, adding value to the services provided, and reducing overall gross spend in the region.
The Cold Lake Maintenance Team self-performs Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, EHT, Insulation, Fabrication, Vessel Repair, Safety, Supervision, and Site Logistics. We have recently expanded our service offerings to also include Steam Generator
Maintenance, and LDAR scanning. Our bundled service model allows for fewer indirects, which leads to significant cost savings. We are also able to increase productivity and improve schedule performance by using multi-discipline composite crews
