Suncor Multi-Discipline Fleet Maintenance and Turnarounds

The site-based team delivers day-to-day maintenance with a steady crew of over 400 highly skilled craftspeople. In addition, the team ramps up for major turnarounds every year to with an additional 300-700 people. Facing congested conditions and tight timelines, the team has won multiple safety awards for our work at Suncor Turnarounds. The team executes over 1,000,000 person-hours annually while delivering exceptional safety performance, adding value to the services provided, and reducing overall gross spend in the region.

The Suncor Maintenance Team self-performs Electrical, Instrumentation, EHT, Insulation, and High Voltage Technical Services. We have recently expanded our service offerings to also include mechanical, building cladding, HVAC, thermography, and powerline. Our bundled service model allows for fewer indirects, which leads to significant cost savings. We are also able to increase productivity and improve schedule performance by using multi-discipline composite crews.
