This two-storey facility includes a dispatch centre, administration, training and safety areas. The maintenance space includes a machine shop, welding centre, fabrication shop, fabric area, repair and paint facilities as well as a two-storey parts cell and tool crib with specialized equipment.
Mechanical works include centralized systems for all maintenance operations such as motor oil, antifreeze, compressed air and breathing air. The project involved a phased turnover at the request of the Department of National Defence that included the relocation of approximately 600 pieces of furniture and equipment used within existing DND operations.
