Accommodating 1,700 students per year, the showpiece of this contemporary facility is the three-storey plumbing tower that provides apprentices with a full-size simulation of a multi-level residential building.

The most notable features of the college are the indoor fire pump simulator and the exposed mechanical systems, which help the apprentices to practice hands-on learning. Also, Bird installed indoor wells, six to 20 feet deep, for pump installation training and 10,000 feet of coiled copper pipe in the gas lab for gas fitter training. Bird completed this project ahead of schedule in time for the facility to host September classes.
