Comprising a historic renovation and addition, the new addition is constructed of laminated veneer lumber and timber roof trusses. Designed to mirror the architecture of the original train station, Bird salvaged bricks from the old building and reused them as decorative inserts in the new walls. The 18-foot high interior houses merchandise, checkouts, a cold room, warehouse and an office mezzanine. A glass link connects the addition to the original station.
