This construction management project involved the replacement of a nursing home. The new facility provides three different levels of care, and houses 70 residents in two wings of the building. The third wing consists of a common room, kitchen, dining room, and staff offices. 

Each residence sector includes access control doors with restricted keypad access. The most notable environmentally sustainable feature is the solar panels that supplement the in-floor heating system.

A significant challenge on this project was the onset of construction before the completion of drawings and designs. The Bird team ensured efficiency by expediting a smooth tendering process for the subtrades and closely coordinating production.
