The design echoes ancient Chinese Buddhist Temples, and stands out among the skyscrapers in Calgary’s downtown. The exterior shell’s unique architecture provided particular challenges relative to the culture of the occupants. The downtown Calgary location presented challenges for the scheduling of certain activities such as lane closures for concrete pumping.
