The Beeton hydroelectric development included excavation, primary and secondary concrete pouring, supply and installation of the draft tube, draft tube gates, stay ring, cone, spiral case, power house structure, overhead crane, and the coordination of 20 subcontractors.
Throughout the course of the project, over 10,015 cubic metres of concrete was poured, 760 tons of reinforcing steel placed, and 22,020 cubic metres of controlled blasting carried out. Due to early completion, commercial power generation was able to begin two months ahead of schedule.
