BMW Toronto’s unique features include a backlit billboard-style facade and a "matchbox" display that illuminates two sets of three cars in the centre middle section of the building. Cars are transported via two hydraulic elevators, each with the capacity to transport a vehicle. Clients can enjoy the scenic glass elevator. With 24 service bays, seven wash bays, and showroom space encompassing almost 9,300 square metres, this facility is the largest of its kind in Canada.

Challenges included executing major structural modifications to the existing building while maintaining an aggressive schedule. Bird worked with the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority to ensure that the adjacent Don River was not compromised by the construction activity on the remediated site.
