Canadian Blood Services was in need of a consolidated Atlantic production facility to enhance the safety and efficiency of its operations. The scope of work included the construction of an office building equipped with laboratories and a warehouse facility.
The two-storey building envelope has a total of nine glazing types incorporated into the design of the curtainwall. The facility contains 15 controlled environmental rooms for blood storage and sufficient backup power capabilities to ensure the facility operates uninterrupted.
