The facility consists of two NHL-size ice surfaces, an aquatic center with an 83 foot competition pool, a 33 foot children's wading pool and a 155 foot water slide. In addition, the facility has a large gym with two full-size basketball courts, a mini-gym, a weight room, three squash courts and a racquetball court, a physiotherapy centre, a 46-seat restaurant-style concession area and office and maintenance facilities.
The highlight of this facility is that it has the first all stainless steel pool to be installed in Canada. The main pool and the wading pool are constructed using a prefabricated stainless steel wall panels and gutter system.
