The work for Defence Research and Development Canada was completed in four phases including upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems, building envelope, lighting, communications and security systems. Various interior renovations to improve the operational efficiency were part of phase one. Construction took place while the facility was fully operational, requiring careful attention to timing of construction activities.
