The Devon NEC Central Core is built to provide efficient guest traffic flows, which channel guests away from the centre of the core towards the individual dorm pods. The building is constructed with a structural concrete raft foundation, steel structure and a flat SBS asphalt roof.
The central core building contains a dining hall and servery, kitchen and food preparation, gymnasium, fitness area, two squash courts, theatre, games room, TV rooms, laundry, administration areas and common areas.
