Located in uptown Saint John, Bird completed the three-storey addition to Market Square for Genesys Telecommunications. The expansion included a new office space and stand-alone entrance. To accentuate the existing Market Square exterior, Bird used similar and complementary building materials including brick, composite metal panel in titanium and bronze metallic finishes with bronze reflective glass windows and curtain wall above the new entrance. The interior, housing approximately 130 employees, features the concept of bright, open spaces with a suspended circular staircase.

Construction was completed in a tight quarters, to manage the lack of space Bird employed the use of a mobile crane tower, the first application in Eastern Canada.
