Bird performed demolition, finishing, landscaping and the construction of an exterior parking lot. The exterior work included completion of the roof and reconstruction of balconies to prevent water from entering the living quarters. The interior work involved the re-design of many of the suites to allow for more living space.

The result of Bird’s efforts was a residence completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The Heartland Retirement Residence offers 129 modern suites and one level of underground parking. Also included in the residence are a commercial kitchen, movie theatre, hair salon, fitness centre and dining room.
