Hospice Greater Saint John is the first residential hospice in Atlantic Canada providing 24-hour medical and non-medical care. Bird completed demolition, reconstruction of the parking lot, sidewalks and landscaping. Interior items included a hydraulic elevator and upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems.
The community’s palliative care home has 10 private bedrooms and four family bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms. Bird was a lead sponsor for the annual Valentine’s Gala and donated the hard hats for the table décor. To show their appreciation, the Hospice named a palliative care suite in the company’s name.
