Bird was awarded the contract to perform an interior fit-up for Nubody’s Fitness. During construction the site was flooded as a result of 200 millimetres of rain that swept through the community. With the completion date only a month away, the main floor of the new gym had endured damage from the flood.
The team removed debris and dryers were utilized to dry up the excess water. Bird worked around the clock to mitigate the flood damage by salvaging as much material as possible - the incredible effort of the team enabled the renovations to meet the original opening date.
