These 177 residential rental units for downtown Toronto are laid out in a 10-storey tower with a 810 square metre floor plate and two levels of underground parking. This apartment building includes bachelor, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.

A terrace on part of the fifth floor is used as an outdoor amenity space. The featured green roof works to absorb rainwater, provide insulation, create a habitat for wildlife, and help to lower urban air temperatures and combat the heat island effect.

Bird’s scope of work included pre-construction work to secure cost effective materials and ensure the job was as efficient as possible. The building is targeting LEED^® Gold and Tier 1 and Tier 2 principles of the Toronto Green Standards (TGS).
