With federal and provincial funding, Ossekeag Place is a senior’s apartment complex, which allows seniors on a fixed income to continue to live independently and remain in their community. As Hampton’s first senior apartment housing development, the wood-framed, three-storey 32-unit complex offers low-income seniors the choice between one- and two-bedroom units. Each unit is equipped with facilities including kitchen, dining area, washroom and a spacious balcony extending from the living room area. Laundry facilities, common areas and an elevator are located within the building for tenant purposes.
