The studio complex includes eight sound stages totalling 173,900 square feet (including the mega stage) plus 110,500 square feet of production support space including production offices, wardrobes, shops and a commissary. The facility mega stage features a distinctive barrel-vaulted roof and steel buttresses and is North America's largest purpose built soundstage. It has enough interior space to enclose the parthenon. Additional sound stages constructed ranged in size from 12,000 to 30,000 square feet. Every stage is soundproof and column-free.
