This multi-use community recreation facility includes a large gymnasium, fitness area, dance/aerobic studios and changing rooms; all fronting a sky lit “community street.” The project is designed to a LEED Silver standard with an emphasis on operational efficiency. Green initiatives include a ground-source geothermal heating and cooling system, rainwater collection for non-potable uses, waterless urinals, super insulated envelope, high reflective roofing materials, and low maintenance landscaping.

The relocation of the entire construction management team to the project site during the final two months of production allowed tight controls to be placed and underscored the importance of quality project delivery.
