Albian Sands Expansion is a fully integrated 100,000 barrel-a-day expansion of oilsands mining and upgrading facilities at Albian’s Muskeg River Mine, located approximately 80 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.

The mine services complex has been designed to allow for the washing and maintenance of heavy equipment used within the tar sands mines. This complex also contains a warehouse, tailings shop and a 45,000 square foot administration building. Consisting of one welding bay, two wash bays and nine service bays, this massive complex is the largest of its kind within the oilsands region.
