The project was constructed in time to prepare for the 2011 fall semester and to qualify for full funding under the federal government’s Infrastructure Stimulus Fund. Aware of the tight timelines, the team confidently accepted the challenge.

Our flexibility and our ability to exceed expectations enabled a phased, fast-track schedule for the campus building. Bird tackled multiple sections of the building in phases so floors could be occupied by the client once completed. The crew worked six and half days per week with a workforce of 150 at the peak of construction resulting in a campus that is leading edge in design - incorporating unitized curtain wall and containing many sustainable design elements.
