The TransLink building includes room for 400 buses, 188 standard trolleys and 40 articulated trolleys. The facility also has a publicly-accessible cafeteria. The facility incorporates sustainable building techniques and features a recycled bus wash and an on-site wastewater treatment plant.
Bird worked closely with the owner and the design team to ensure that the constructability and cost of the new innovative systems met the final requirements of the user groups.
